Need help identifying trees

    The first is Sorbus of some sort, not poisonous. [Edited: Re: the second photo,] I keep accusing posted fruits of being plums. I wasn't right on the previous one, but maybe this one? You could cut it open and see if the pit looks like a plum.

    The Colorado State University Database lists Sorbus scopulina (aka Sorbus aucuparia) as a native mountain ash tree. See: Southwest Colorado Wildflowers, Sorbus scopulina for photos that look very similar to yours. It grows into very attractive small tree - there are lots of websites that tell all about it.

    First is a rowan (Sorbus sp.; edible but not palatable - use for making jam), second a Cherry-plum (Prunus cerasifera; edible and can be very nice).
