Hello! I inherited an indoor plant from a colleague, and I have no idea what it is. I don't think I'm taking very good care of it, although I think I've figured out how it likes to be watered. It seems to like to go dry then be soaked, then go dry again.

My biggest question is around the strength of it's stem - it can't hold itself up, but I don't know if I should let it fall over the side of the pot, because when it does, it starts trying to grow straight up again! Also, the stem grows in a sort-of-curl, and the leaves grow curled, then open up.

Anyone know what it is, and how I should let it grow?

    Thanks!!

Syngonium podophyllum. It's actually a climber/creeper; if you provide it with something to go up it will do so gleefully.
