Katalina25. Your photo is not a cycad, it's most likely Butia capitata. Cycads can vary conciderably in color. Nice collection pachyman! Cheers, LPN.

It is indeed a very beautiful tree though...hmm..I may try to get some seed. My one was in Tenerife south, the leaves felt like wires...really wirery and very unyielding to the fingers. One thing I do know.
