    Hi everyone,

I've been lurking for a little while, but figured I'd give a query a shot. I found this guy in my Raspberry plant pot today. I realize this is a LBM, but thought it was worth a shot.

A bit of information about my find -

Found in a Raspberry Pot, had some really light seedling soil in it.
Singular, no other mushroom in the container.
Its about 3 inches tall, a bit larger than a twoonie in cap size.
It appears to have adnexed gills.
It has a somewhat umbonate cap.
    Light earthy smell, very soil-like.
The stipe is somewhat hollow inside, but reasonably firm, not unlike thick field grasses, no ring or volva was found.
    This is downtown Vancouver.

Shoot me a reply if you need any additional information.

    Thanks,
    Rohm

The best I have been able to determine, without any sort of expertise in the area, would be an immature Shield Pinkgill.

The bottom mushroom in the left photo appears quite similar to mine
The checklist seems to be filled in with this one -
White and hollow fibrous stipe devoid of ring or volva.
Brown cap with radiating bands of color/spots.
    Grey gills when immature.
Habitat under bushes belonging to the Rosaceae - Raspberry being included in this.

If another one pops up I will have to let it mature fully this time, checking the gill coloration, spore print and cross section and see if my suspicions are correct.
