Identification: mushroom ID

    Hi People
    Must admit to being a real novice, but I think they are edible, prob'ly an agaric, but not sure. Would like to eat them, but would really appreciate other opinions.

    They do look like something in the genus Agaricus, but I have no idea what species occur in Australia. Some of those in North America are poisonous; so I wouldn't try eating them without a complete ID. First thing to do is to get a spore print to be more certain of the genus.
