Hi, jus a quick word, in case anyone is trying to sign up for seed distribution or the Symposium and tour:

As of 9 Oct Evening GMT there is a problem with the site, the address links aren't working right.

I'll post again when the site is back up, should be shortly.

And, the web site is back up.

The Maple Society will no longer sell you a bouncy castle. That's sort of sad.

Glad it's back again so I can pay my membership for next year.

But the link to the seed distribution scheme leads to an error 404:

"La page demandée "/fr/seeds" n'a pas pu être trouvée."

    Too late to participate?...

I hope not, and it shouldn't be. I'll pass this on.

    Thanks.

Not a good year for seeds here : got only about 3 dozen samarras from 'Sango Kaku', about a dozen 'O-sakazuki and some plain A. palmatum seeds.

I sent this along but I guess our web master has already gone home for the day, to see his lovely new baby.

Yes it's a positively horrible year for seeds, even the sycamores don't have many!! There are a few on A. longipes and the Korean maple, but really nothing on any other maples; except the trident maples which are heavy with it. Funny, it's a mast year for oaks though. Let me know if you want (or the club for that matter) buergerianum seed... ;)
