This young yellow Magnolia was moved from a pot into the ground in spring. It is in full sun. I have recently found some leaves are turning brown or having brown spots. See the attached photos. Not sure what is causing it. We water the plant quite frequently lately. Is that the reason or is it some kind of bacteria/disease? Is it something that needs to be concerned? What can we do to make this plant healthy? Appreciate your input.

A few gallons a week is all a small mag needs don't over water. Perhaps some organic/manure with mulch on top would help? Some hollytone? Have you done a soil test?
