Low desert bush in Namibia

    Could someone help with this please? The low bush was found at Twyfelfontein in Damaraland, Namibia; a very arid region. A genus, or even a family would be great help.

    Thank you Daniel! You provided the courage for me to confirm my suspicions and focus on Acanthaceae. It's Ruellia diversifolia and a native of Namibia. Now on to my next challenge in uncharted waters.
