I just bought a house, and there are a few plants I'm not sure what the names are. This specific one was just a small piece of wood sticking out from the ground in the winter, and now it's grown very quickly. I live in Las Vegas, NV but I do have a sprinkler system that drips water to all my trees and rose bushes.

It's got those little curly tendrils which makes me think it's climbing, but it's more like a bush in the center. There are no flowers or fruits, at least not yet.

Can anyone tell me what it is?? Or if it's even poisonous?

I don't think you have poison ivy. . Remember the saying "leaves of three, let them be". From the pic I don't see the three leaf groups. Some one else may know more. ;))
