I am a hobby gardener with a fair sized garden (about 1000 square foot) and a few rose beds. I live on Vancouver Island. I am looking for Rootstocks so I can experiment with budding. Does anyone know where I can purchase some good quality rootstock in Canada? I would prefer to locate healthy rosa multiflora plants (or seed I guess if I have to propagate my own seedlings).

Rosa multiflora plants are one of the easiest roses ro propagate from cuttings and are really invasive when dicarded into the wild. That said you can try Brentwood Bay Nursery. I have never done buisness there myself but they do have a good seelection of roses or you could try Hortico Nurseries.
