    Hello,

I am a researcher in the UBC Botany/Chemistry Depts looking for specimens of Podocarpus macrophyllus from which I might take a few leaves for research purposes. Does anyone know of the location of any of these plants? I know of one in the UBC Botanical Garden, but a few more would be excellent!

    Best,

    Luke

Well, of course I have a couple in my landscape and probably thousands more in my neighborhood, but I don't know that I can send you leaves across Canada's border. If I'm mistaken and you can use them, let me know.

Wow, thanks for the offer - I think for this experiment fresh leaves would be best, but if it comes down to it I will keep it in mind!

I actually saw a couple of trees at Mandeville Gardens in Burnaby this past Saturday (near the indoor tropical plants). Good sized too so I'm sure you could get a small sample if you asked.
