This Kalmia buxifolia might be my favourite plant. Until my next favourite - it occurs to me I've said this before, about something else. It's very colourful, from pinpoint dots of orange-red, and the thing is, I can't figure out if these are new leaves or flower buds. My camera (or skill) is not up to this - a few places seem to show flower buds, but in other places, it looks like leaves. Could someone say, please?
    Here are photos from yesterday.

I posted this photo in October 2013, in which there are still fruits and what seem a bit more like flower buds.
