This tree was on the property when I took possession. It is a nice garden tree, requiring litttle care. The Tree Lilac is also called a Japanese tree lilac or Ivory Silk lilac. It is being used as a landscape street tree. It flowers more heavily than other lilac species. It is able to withstand winter temperatures as low as 30 degrees below zero.
