This tree is growing in a back yard next to a ravine in Burnaby. I thought this might be Pacific Crab Apple, but I've looked at pictures of Pacific Crab Apple on the internet, and the leaves look different to me, the fruit is also supposed to be red, but can also be yellow.

The fruit on this tree is yellow and the leaves are green and very glossy. I'm wondering if this is a cultivated variety of Crab Apple, or something different altogether.

There is another very small tree growing close to a garage that really has no future in that spot, being so close to the garage and in a path. If this is a native tree, I'd like to dig up the small tree and put it in my yard.

    Thanks for any help.
