does anyone know if it's too late to plant garlic here on vancouver island? i heard that it needs to be planted in the fall/winter. wouldn't it just rot if i put it in the ground now?

    thanks in advance, guys!

Good question, but it will not likely rot, even if planted now on the wet coast..... I forgot to use up this past years harvest that I left in the garage, as a garlic braid, and most have new green shoots. I will plant them on New Years day...in the sunniest spot in the garden where there is ample drainage.
