I just picked up this orchid for $2. Had the label on it of DENDROBIUM 37-06/#26 Genting Royal. However after doing a lot of searching I could only find a picture of it on a Yahoo search. I am trying to find out what type of Dendrobium it is and something about how to care for it. I believe it might be a recent hybrid. I am new to growing orchids but have bought a few in the last year and they seem to do well in Florida in the shade of my oak tree.

I know this is an old thread, but I noticed that no one had relplied. Did you get an answer? Den. Genting Royal is an antelope type Dendrobium that likes warm temperatures and high light. It likes to dry out between waterings. Should do well in Florida. I'll give some more info if you need.
