    Hello,

For many months I have been dealing with some infestation on my indoor Jasmine. It looks like white spider web-like structures along the branches with tiny bugs attached on the threads. The leaves are also covered with white mossy growth. This bug killed my earlier Jasmine plant. I brought a new plant from a local nursery and the new plant has also caught the same bug and is slowly weathering.

If someone enlighten me on what this bug is and how to deal with it, I will be grateful.

    Thanks

You have a spider mite infestation. Isolate the plant and treat with insecticidal soap. Note that multiple applications are required for it to be effective. Allow approximately 7-10 days between applications. Repeat several times until there is no sign of the pest. The webbing should be removed before the first application. This could be done by hosing down the plant thoroughly outside or in the shower.
