Identification (Polygonaceae?)

    Hi there:

    I've been trying to identify this plant (see attachments) using a dichotomous key. Truth be told, this is the first time I've ever tried to use a key, and the only thing I'm really sure of is that the plant belongs to the Magnoliopsida class. I suspect that the plant may be part of the Polygonaceae family, although a quick image search doesn't exactly yield similar pictures to the ones I took.

    Can someone help me with the identification process?

    Yes. Nerium oleander. All parts poisonous.
