    Above Hoffmannseggia trifoliata plant was found and ID by biologist and PhD candidate Claudia Guerrido author of now out of print: Guerrido, C.M. & Fernández, D.A. 2007, Flora Patagonia: Southern Forests. Field Guide to Plant Identification and their Habitats. Fantástico Sur: Punta Arenas, Chile.
