I had gotten a Hibicus tree and a bush last spring (2007) I am not sure if it is Tropical or not. I bloomed all summer and in the fall I brought it indoors, placed it in the sunniest spot in the house. I did use the insecticide spray (maybe not enough) but I did spray it a few times in the beginning and watered regularily. It did lose leaves in the beginning (most likely shock) but always grew more back This year I placed it outdoors (I live in Toronto) at the beginning of JUne and the leaves are now turning White and very thin. Is there hope for these plants? Also when do you have to prune back halfway? spring or fall? Any help would be great. As I really like these plants. Thanks
