Hi, My name is Anne and i live in Los Angeles, CA. I study Chinese Medicine. Part of our medicine is herbalism, so naturally I love plants. My interests stretch beyond just the materia medica of oriental medicine and i am very fond of studying California natives as well as any ethnobotany and paleoecology for fun. I am also interested in trying to cultivate some of the plants we use in chinese medicine. Our school, Yo San University is connected to a garden which is currently growing some of these plants. The garden is known as the "the learning Garden" in Venice, CA. There is a web site.
    Check it out.

Hi Anneal, welcome to the forums. Wow! what a great concept for an educational garden; the union of horticulture, Chinese medicine and community in a garden located on the grounds of a high school is a great project. Thanks for sharing.
