Does any one know what these shoots are at the base of my palm tree?

Ditto to Psilotum; a fascinating primitive fern-relative.

Thank you Wendy. I'm no expert and I thought maybe this plant (Psilotum) was part of the palm tree that it co-habitates with.

Looking forward to the Cherry Blossom Festival. We have a huge stunning tree right in front of our house. Many people stop every year to take pictures and remark on its size and beauty. And then there is VanDusen Gardens.

    Thanks again, Parry

Thanks Michael. This little bit of information will give me a focus to do some research in my spare time. Parry
