help with plant id and possibly a tree id

    hi all. can i get some help with identifying these plants? i also have a tree that i would like identified but i didnt get a really detailed pic of it. i forgot to take a closeup of the leaf to provide more info. sorry!

    1. Forget-me-not (Myosotis sylvatica)
    2. Miner's lettuce (Montia perfoliata)
    3. Possibly Giant Hogweed (Heracleum mantegazzianum), but definitely an umbellifer.
    4. A broom of some sort. Would need a closer photo to confirm an ID (e.g. Cytisus, Chamaecytisus, etc.).
    5. California poppy (Eschscholzia californica)

    Pretty much impossible to pick the tree at that distance. A close-up of the and preferably the flower or fruit too would help.

    Looks a lot like Chamaecytisus hirsutus but the flowers lack the red spot typical of that species.

    #3 is a Heracleum, but looks more like Heracleum maximum (native in the area; syn. H. lanatum, H. sphondylium subsp. montanum) than H. mantegazzianum.

    Yes, definitely, the hogweed is actually quite apparently different once you get to know both species.
