Wildflowers: Help to identify this beach plant

    Please help me to identify this plant I have seen. The location is sand dunes on the sea coast, but not an open sea but a closed bay. There are several species growing there. The flowers are small with 4 petals and the leaves form a basalt rosette. Thank you!

    Yes, the second picture definitely matches! It's Plantago erecta. I never thought plantain could look like this. Thank you for your help.
