    First of all, welcome aboard!

Our primary purpose here is to identify your plants, and to foster discussion on the growth and propagation of plants in you garden and house. So, we've got the big ID forums for indoor and outdoor plants, and then specific ones by broad groups (ie Woody Plants, Food Plants etc) and others by Family and Genus (at the bottom of the main page; these include Maples (genus Acer), Aroids (family Araceae) and many many more)

When you've got a general gardening question, there's the HortBoard up at the top.

We're all very friendly and helpful; some of us are professional botanists, and others are just dedicated plant nuts (like me). We come from all over the world.

Now that you know who we are - ask us about plants!

Well, Hibiscus have their very own forum, down at the bottom of the page. You can also ask in Indoor Plants and Woody Plants.
