I am going to harvest the seeds on my celosia cristata and I was wondering if it makes any difference if I get the ones on the big flower head on the main stalk or the dozens of other smaller flowers that come from all the side shoots? Basically I am trying to figure out if the seeds from the main flower will have a better chance of producing a similiar plant or if it does not matter.

It does not matter - the seeds from the larger flower head will probably be fully developed and grant you more success.
    Good luck!
