Growing upsidedown Tomatoes

  1. hi all
I have been growing upside down veggies for years the trick with tomatoes is to keep the runners pinched out so the bush doesnt get out of control and it will make for more fruit. With the light under the bucket I learned is to lay disposable pie tins on the ground under the plants just drive a fairly large nail thru them and they wont blow away. I grow cucumbers, squash, peppers and am now trying strawberries. I also grow potatoes and beans in burlap sacks with wonderful success.
