I just bought myself an Oleander! I know they are poisonous but should be fine. I really like its leaves my only question is about the fragrance. I read that it is supposed to have a lovely scent but my white blooms are quite mild. Am I going to be disappointed. Any information on growing these in our climate (I have a large container garden on a rooftop patio in east van) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks,
    David

Expect to be overwintering it under cover.

    Hi Ron,

Thanks for the reply. Putting it under cover should be no problem but can I still leave it oustide with a thick layer of mulch? I've read that these can handle short periods of as low as -10.

Also I'm a bit disappointed that it is not as fragrant as I thought it might be. Any thoughts?

ps-my night blooming jasmine is just about to pop. It's going to be wonderfule this year!
