I just bought myself an Oleander! I know they are poisonous but should be fine. I really like its leaves my only question is about the fragrance. I read that it is supposed to have a lovely scent but my white blooms are quite mild. Am I going to be disappointed. Any information on growing these in our climate (I have a large container garden on a rooftop patio in east van) would be greatly appreciated. Thanks, David
Hi Ron, Thanks for the reply. Putting it under cover should be no problem but can I still leave it oustide with a thick layer of mulch? I've read that these can handle short periods of as low as -10. Also I'm a bit disappointed that it is not as fragrant as I thought it might be. Any thoughts? ps-my night blooming jasmine is just about to pop. It's going to be wonderfule this year!
