    Greetings to all:

Do you know or can you recommend a source for a groundcover having center:

White Star in Blue Circle ?

My recollection is, I found what I recall is a ground cover, AJUGA-like.

    rather flat-type.

I could be mistaken, but I recall a blue-green leaf system,

The Center Had a flat White Star in a blue circle.

    Thanks, Joseph

    Hi Joseph,

I don’t really understand your question. Are you looking for a specific type of flower that has a white star in a blue circle that can be grown for ground cover? Maybe a type of vine like Clematis or Passion flowers? There are all kinds of annuals or perennials.

    Negatory.

    Ancient Laurentia was interesting.

    I seek a flower described as :

White 5-point star within a Blue Circle
Within an Outer Circle of another (sometimes golden)
    color.

The Flower is symbolic of ancient Spiritual knowledge.

Joseph, I think the plant you are seeking is passion flower aka Passiflora.

    WOW!

I scanned your link and was amazed! How Spiritual things enter our everyday lives.

    The flower I seek,

A White Star in an Opal Blue Circle encircled by a Golden Halo,

    symbolizes "The Spiritual Eye".

There are many so-called explanations on the internet, but the original source for an understanding of the significance of The Spiritual Eye is found in the
Bhagavad Gita, by Paramansa Yogananda (PY).

"The White Star symbolizes God's Cosmic Conscious, the Opal Blue symbolizes God's Christ Consciousness, & the Golden Halo symbolizes the Om, or Holy Ghost".

The devotees of PY's The Self Realization Fellowship hold forums
    on this subject.

    Thank You again, Joseph
Thank You for the Passion of Christ flower reference.

    Newt:

Thank You for your message. The "Spiritual Eye" mentioned earlier is actually seen in meditation, by advanced seekers on the spiritual path.

The closest flower I've seen, so far, to what I'm seeking is the Vincor Minor.

Hi Joseph, is the flower you are seeking something that you have see growing, or is it from a picture or a painting?

Daniel & Luditte, Thank You 4 Ur msgs...

This flower was discovered at Hidden Valley, CA (near Escondido
in San Diego County), sometime ~ 2004, as I recall.

It was shown to others who were amazed as I. At that time I
brought a clipping to a Nursery, who identifed it's family, & even
found an Italian grower who supplied it!

Since then, I was taken ill for ~ 2 years & CANNOT FOR THE LIFE OF ME remember that family name!

Also ~ 2005, the Hidden Valley area had a heat wave that took all the plants & that area was changed by construction.

This year, I have searched that area again, in vain. I have searched flower growers internet in Italy,so far no luck.

I remain hopeful & appreciate your consideration, Joseph.

Any chance that you can remember what time of year it was? I was just wondering if it might possibly be a spring flowering bulb.
I realise that you have already said it isn't this, however a different angle and a different picture have been known to help.See......

Hope you are now completely better ,and that eventually someone can find this plant that means so much to you.

The one that I can think of is Creeping Veronica, Rozanne or some type of blue cranesbill and Star of Bethlehem.
