Identification: Great mushroom - but what is it?

    Hello!

    Have another mystery fungus, this one is a beaut! Unfortunately, can't tell you if it has gills or pores. Found in northwestern Ontario, late in the summer. Thanks for any assistance.

    Possibly a lobster mushroom (hypomyces lactifluorum)

    looks like my favorite mushroom in the world, hypomyces lactifluorum.
