Getting a personal avatar

    How do I go about getting my own avitar? I don't want to use the preset ones, even though they are nice. I have several great photos I'd like to choose from as my own avitar. ??

    Thank you for your direction to this piece of info. I will be sure to post more here. Does this reply count as a post? I think I like the way this is set up. You have to earn your place on this board, which is really good, as, well, for me, the more I post and read replies, the more I learn.

    Yes you can. Click on My Settings on the bar at the top, then look for Edit Avatar on the left. You'll see that it lets you upload a photo you want to use.
