Fir cone/branch?

    I observed this combination cone and branch on my Korean fir, Abies koreana 'Silberlocke'. The needles on top appear to be true needles like on the branches, and there are short spike like needles around the cone like structure. Has anyone seen something like this before?[​IMG]

    Whatever you did to attach a photo did not work. Have a look at Attach photos and files and reply to this with a photo from your computer.
