My elephant ears are turning yellow. Can anyone advise how to winterize this plant?

    Do you use pine straw?
The soil may be too acidic.
    Keep them well watered.

I used to just leave mine outside and they came back for a while. Also, you could keep it in a container and take it in for the winters. I did that with an Elephant ear for years till I decided to do something new and ..... well that story doesn't have a happy ending. The leaving them out is probably not the best idea, I do not know for sure. I suppose it depends what zone you are in. But if you do that they will die and go dormant for the winter. I hav heard that some people dig their bulbs up and let them dry for the winter then replant in the spring. I hope someone else posts, I do not feel very confident with this particular plant. :D Sorry. Hope this helps a little though.
