We live in the cariboo and have all these little egg sacks popping up on our rosé bushes. I am not sure what they are or how to get rid of them.
They have a hard shell but are mushy with creamy coloured eggs inside.

Any thoughts on what and how to get rid of them?

A stiff paintbrush would be an efficient tool for manually removing the scale; the bristles would work around and inbetween the thorns. This is the stage of their life cycle where they are easiest to target, like shooting fish in a barrel.
