    Hi all,
I just "adopted" a little ponytail palm from a neighbors discard pile at the curb. It looks pretty healthy. I have no idea how long it's been since it was put into the pot (the neighbor doesn't talk to anyone). I would like to nurture the little thing and give it a good home. I need to know everything and anything about "loving" poneytail palms... light, water, soil, drainage, fertilizer, temperatures, etc. etc. etc. I'm in Sarasota, FL, about 60 miles south of Tampa.
    Thank you, Edie

We have a Succulent and Caudiciform Culture Guide posted. This should get you started.
