This member of the hyacinth family is a fairly easy plant. At least it seems to thrive on my abuse. Not a spectacular flower but great foliage. The above-ground bulbs offset fairly easily.

They are nice little plants. Offset easily, and survive lots of neglect.

For years I've treated these like cacti, sandy soil, little water, dry in winter, etc. A few years ago I finally got a greenhouse and transplanted some into bigger pots. I didn't have any cactus soil so I put them in my regular potting soil- and they exploded!

Now I have so many I consider them a sort of weed. Offset easily and love living outdoors under a tree all summer.
