    Hi,

I have several different varieties of hydrangeas but two varieties (Climbing hydrangea and pinky winky ) seem to be very susceptible to an ant/insect/slug(??) that likes to eat the leaf edges. The leaf damage is extensive especially in pinky winky and I think it puts the plants in stress and I am noticing fewer and smaller flowers this year due to th e damage, I think. Any suggestions? The cuts are not stereotypical of the leaf cutter bee which is present in my yard. These are just random shaped cuts in the leaves.

Any help would be highly appreciated.
