I have a Crown of Thorns that I need to bring into the house for the winter. I live in the lower penninsula of Michigan. It is very cold and snowy pretty much from December thru March. I do not have a large enough window area to put this plant in for the winter months. My house is dark and dreary because of the lack of windows with sun coming thru. I was thinking about putting her in the mud room which gets diffused light thru the door and put a sun lamp on her during the day. Does any one have any ideas for me to get her thru the winter?

Although your Crown of Thorns would grow and bloom better under direct full sunlight, diffused light and a sun lamp should be sufficient for winter survival.
