Identification: Cladonia fimbriata?

    Again, lovely photos you have taken! Cladonia has some of the most charming species - I too hope other members will be interested.

    As I mentioned, my expertise with Italy is none, and with Cladonia is limited, so please keep that in mind with my response.
    Due to the podetia cups having squamules both inside and out, this looks more like Cladonia pyxidata to me rather than Cladonia fimbriata which has podetia covered with soredia. There are also other species possibilities, as mentioned in the other post.
