If you'd like to learn about our ornamental cherries, the best way is to become a Cherry Scout for the Vancouver Cherry Blossom Festival. We teach you about the cherries, then you help us by finding them and reporting when they're in bloom.

At the Cherry Scout Training Session, you will learn about the role of the scouts in finding and sharing information about the blooming of our ornamental cherries. The focus of the evening will be on how to report your discoveries. There will also be a slide show of pretty pictures, with hints on how to recognize the various cultivars.
