i am wondering if the chafer beetle would be in my potted plants. I am moving and have had them in my lawn in Port Moody, I did apply the nematodes las summer and watered as directed.... I don't want to infect my new home in the island by taking potted plants that could have larvae in them. Any advice would be appreciated?

I don't have the answer to your question though it sounds as if you have done the right things. Maybe keeping them off the ground or in saucers would help too?

Just posting to let you know that, at least here on the east side of the island, I have been finding the chafer beetles in my garden. I was thinking that my lawn has less grass because of shadiness but last year I found quite a few beetles drowned in an open dish of water. Perhaps there is no point to worrying too much about it?
