My strata has Cedar trees that are well over 4 stories tall, they are planted approx. 12' away from the building. I believe they are Western Red cedars. Some of the roots are on the surface of the grass, heading to the buildings cement wall. Could these roots cause damage to the wall? If so is it possible to cut 4' off any roots that are close to the wall without causing damage to the trees? These trees were just fine in the Aug 29/15 wind storm.
