Identification: Can any one tell me what this is?

    looks like a little palm. maybe a parlour palm (neantha bella I think) can you get a picture of the basal attachments of the leaves?

    Judging by the forming inflorescence, it appears to be a Chamaedorea elegans

    thanks Chris, I only knew it by the common name but when I searched your suggestion (botanical name) it cross ref'd as one and the same. cool.
