I had a jatropha with leaves exactly like that. It had a raceme of coral red flowers, but I never saw it fruit. I can't find the specific jatropha with a quick google search so I am not certain, but it sure looks like my old jatropha. Tropical and poisonous, if you didn't know.

A little more searching and I'm pretty sure you have Jatropha multifida. Some of the online examples do not have the leaves as finely dissected and narrow as yours and mine, but you'll find pics of it that look identical, too.

King, if I remember correctly, my jatropha came from a yard sale in the greater Orlando area. After a year or so I put it in the ground where it lived for another year until a hard freeze killed it.

The leaves turned yellow when the cooler weather came.
