I think it is a Coryphantha, but I cannot say what species it is.

try C. durangensis. There are not too many Coryphantha that have a pigmented spine tip. Good lead Mandarin.

I list Coryphantha durangensis as having a pale yellow flower - it may or may not have a red center. Don't know. Looking at Google images it does look like the correct blossom - the nearest replica of your image is a cross between durangensis and another C. species. As for the Ferocactus cannot be sure as the mature species has a hooked central spine and a groove in the rib valley. In all other respects your plant matches F. hamatacanthus. Best I can offer you as my focus is on vegetative characteristics (not floral). Nice pictures.

there are 13 Ferocactus with tubercles; of those the closest resemblance to your plant is hamatacanthus - I think we can now be confident re the id of that plant. The mature plant in your picture does have a hooked central spine. (again - great photos!). Now to review the new Coryphantha photo...

I have 11 Coryphantha's with radiating spines with a pigmented spine tip. Of those, durangensis is the closest to your plant - I think we can now be confident re the id of that plant.

(These are not my kind of cacti, so I am far from sure about the names)

    1. Looks more like a short-spined M. geminispina to me.
    2. Not uncinata, this one is more common. M. compressa? (but it has pink flowers I believe) M. magnimamma? Or karwinskiana? Or ...
    3. Agree with you.
    6. Myrtillocactus geometrizans?
    7. A monstrose Cereus of some kind.

Note: I think saltcedar actually mean photo no. 6, not plant no. 6.
You mentioned 7 plants but uploaded 11 photos, which was quite confusing.

    1. Mammillaria albilanata?
    2. Mammillaria geminispina
    3. & 4. Mammillaria karwinskiana? mine does not have wool between the tubercles, nor the pink tubercle tip - does have the chiseled tubercle, long central and short secondary spines
    5. Ferocactus latispinus
    6. Ferocactus macrodiscus
    7,8,9 Myrtillocactus - probably geometrizans
    10 - don't know
