Bergenia questions

    I have old woody Bergenia plants and would like to know how to propegate new plants. Also what type of fertilizer would be good for Bergenias? J

    Bergenia? Are you sure you don't mean Begonia?

    From my experience, Bergenia c. can be both cut back and cuttings replanted.

    Start new plants by cuttings , removing almost all the large foliage, and planting in similar soil conditions, do not let them dry out until once established.

    I find that an acidic soil with partial shade works for me.
