Asteraceae but which genus and sp.?

    I have been unable to identify this Asteraceae taxon. The genus is a mystery!

    My inclination upon seeing those leaves is Calendula or something closely related. However, the flower structure doesn't bear this out.

    Check out the tribe Cichoriaea. Those have the most similar flower structure to what you're looking at.

    Definitely, not Calendula. Calendula would have discoid florets.
