Can anyone help me with an ongoing aphid infestation? The plant affected is an indoor leather leaf sedge. I have maually removed the aphids and sprayed the plant with insecticidal soap at least 6 or 7 times now. However, every time the aphids have returned in huge numbers within a week or so. Apart from the aphids the sedge seems very healthy. It lives in an office where the only other plant is a cactus.

    Help would be much appreciated.

I would take it to the sink & wash off the aphids. I would continue to spray the plant with the insecticidal soap once a week for a month.
