In The Garden: Any idea for this plant?

    Hi there - Does anyone have an idea of what can this be? I found it in a yard in Minneapolis. Thanks.

    Were the leaves rather stiff? It looks like a Yucca sp. Maybe Yucca filamentosa, although I think you would see evidence of the curling fibers that shred off the leaf edges. I know there are other yuccas and some agaves that will grow fairly far north, but Minneapolis is a real stretch. What are you, Zone 4?

    They were not specially stiff and I couldn't see any fibers, but thanks for the guess. Should be somewhere between zones 5 and 6.
