    Eric,

I have seen this plant in a couple of other catalogs here in Oregon and I was wondering what you know about its origin. Maybe a local named seedling selection?

Actually, this plant was given to me by the grower without any information at all. I'm clueless, anybody have any info?

Here is a pic taken sept. 24 that shows this plants fasciations. This is very strange. What gives a plant such fasciations, any comments?

I'm curious as to how this tree is coming out. Are the limb fissures becoming more prominent, or are they fading? I have seen a large 'sekka' (I assume synonomous with 'sekka yatsubusa') that had some of these characteristics, but it didn't seem that prominent.
